It is cooling and clearing by nature, and has powerful anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory properties; regenerates tissue, and reduces fevers as well as acting as a digestive balancer. It is also an effective anti-dote for insect and snake bites, and works well for asthma and hay fever, though it is not recommended to be used during an asthma attack.

Contra-indications: not to be used liberally, so if you are using it regularly, look for alternatives such as ravensara or niaouli; HBP; epilepsy: anti-dotes homeopathy; and although it can be used for children, this should be done sparingly.
